Hospital Chapel

The ancient “hospital chapel”, or Arogyasala, sites are a product of the late Angkor period under the reign of Jayavarman VII who, according to inscriptions (most famously at Ta Prohm), ordered 102 hospitals to be built and staffed throughout the kingdom to provide public welfare and medical treatment.
