Mrs Bun Roeung’s Ancient Historic House is located in Wat Kor village in the provincial town of Battambang in Cambodia. This 100-years old property is one of the 20 stilted heritage homes that has survived the Khmer Rouge and other wars. Built of wood, tourists can take walking tours around this house to get to know about Cambodian lifestyle. It is worth visiting this traditional house as a part of your Battambang trip.
The house has a beautiful ambience, surrounded by orchid gardens and palm trees. Its exteriors boast of wide verandahs with open spaces decorated with old paintings. Tours are available in English and French. You can also stay at the backside of this heritage house, which costs between 60 to 90 USD per night and comes with a complimentary breakfast
