About Angkor Wat
Angkor Wat, dedicated to Lord Vishnu, it is the largest Hindu temple in the world as well as the largest religious building in the world. It was built by illustrious Khmer King Suryavarman II in the 12th century A.D. during his reign
between A.D. 1113 and 1150. It is a masterpiece of Khmer
civilisation and a unique combination of architectural
harmony, perfection, symmetry, iconography and spiritual
knowledge of the ancient Khmers. Angkor Wat remains the
most inspiring temple in the world.
