This notice describes how Angkor Connect handles information when people use the Angkor Connect Android app, website, accounts, directory listings and support services. The specific information involved depends on which features you use.
1. Information you provide
- Account details: name, email address, mobile number, username, login credentials and profile information when you register or sign in.
- Listings and contributions: business or page details, location, descriptions, photographs, other submitted files and information you choose to publish.
- Messages and requests: information you send through contact forms, support inquiries or account/page deletion requests, including the contact details needed to verify the requester.
- Purchases or bookings, if used: relevant order or transaction information needed to provide the requested service; payment-service providers may process payment information where applicable.
2. Technical and location information
When you access our services, server and security logs may process information such as IP address, browser or device type, pages requested, timestamps and error information. If you choose a location-based feature, the location you enter or authorize may be used to display maps, nearby results or routes. You can manage applicable device location permissions in Android settings.
3. Why information is used
We use relevant data to register and authenticate accounts, display directory listings and user-created pages, respond to inquiries, operate location and search features, process requested services, maintain website and app security, prevent abuse, and meet applicable legal obligations.
4. Sharing and public content
Information you choose to publish in a public profile, page or listing may be visible to visitors. We may use hosting and other technology or payment service providers to operate the service. Information may also be disclosed when lawfully required or necessary to protect the service. Depending on which features are enabled, providers such as hosting, map, authentication or payment services may process the information necessary for those functions. Their own privacy notices may also apply.
5. Protection and choices
We use organizational and technical measures intended to protect account and request information, including restricted administrative access and protected connections where configured. No online service is completely risk-free. You can update information through available account or listing controls, and manage location permissions on your device.
6. Retention and deletion
Account and listing information is kept while needed to operate the account and requested services. When we receive a verified account deletion request, the account and its associated personal data and user-created content are to be deleted, except records that must legitimately be retained for security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, accounting or legal compliance. A request to delete an individual page or listing can be made without closing the entire account.
Deletion requests are handled manually after ownership verification; submitting a form does not immediately erase data. The deletion-request log is currently retained for review and recordkeeping until an authorized administrator removes it; no automatic expiry period is configured. Other legally required records are kept for the period applicable to their purpose and legal obligation, then removed or anonymized when no longer required.
If a particular record must be retained after a deletion request, contact Angkor Connect for details of the applicable reason and retention period. Deletion from third-party processors may require separate coordination.
7. Request account or content deletion
You can request deletion of your Angkor Connect account and its associated personal data and pages, or deletion of a specific page/listing while keeping your account. No sign-in is required to open the request form. Give your account name and registered email or phone, select the request type and submit it. Our team verifies ownership before processing it. Do not send passwords or OTPs.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child's personal information was submitted through Angkor Connect without appropriate authorization, contact us to request a review and removal where required. Features and third-party services used for younger audiences must comply with applicable requirements.
