The Preah Srey Içanavarman Museum of Economy and Money (SOSORO), located in the heart of the old colonial district of Phnom Penh, recounts nearly 2,000 years of Cambodia's history, from the Funan era to the present day, through the Angkorian Empire and the Cold War, demonstrating the very close interconnection that exists between political changes, social changes, geopolitics, and economic and monetary developments. Established and fully financed by the National Bank of Cambodia, the SOSORO Museum relies on a modern scenography combining ancient artifacts and interactive technologies, such as touch screens and educational games. Open to the public since 2019, its permanent exhibition is suitable for all ages
